The State's Responsibility in Protecting Children in Online Schools during the Covid-19 Pandemic

The number of violence against children seen increases during Covid-19 pandemic, which requires the students to carry out learning activities remotely. This condition causes feel burdened, often parents impact, while they have routine tasks and work. abuse their children, both physically psychologically. purpose this study is analyze recent Indonesian Government policy regarding fulfillment children's rights especially on online process pandemic. used normative legal research with statute approach. results shows that state has an obligation protect from set through penal non-penal policies. However, policies imposed teachers are inappropriate rather than implementing preventing action (non-penal policies). Lastly, psychological counselling provided by government consultant needs be given regularly as a better solution tackle issues.
